Wall Street: Tailored confidence is the real winner
The only redeeming aspect of the much awaited, but greatly disappointing sequel film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps were the tailored suits worn by the star character.
Even though he looked like a college pupil who'd just been voted onto the boys' knitting team, the actor Shia LaBeouf's character, Jacob "Jake" Moore, was given the credibility he and the film desperately needed to be passed off as a capable Wall Street wheeler dealer because of the glorious cut of his suits.
He walked and therefore acted with greater self-assurance and confidence because the cut of his suits was so perfect. A well cut suit makes you feel and look like a million dollars as opposed to a badly stuck together off the shelf one that will make you feel and look much less than a million dollars...and after tax, too.
If you wear well tailored clothes then your confidence in yourself will be bolstered to the extent that other people's confidence in you is suitably strengthened. And, in both business and life, that can give you the success you need.
