Top Tips 1: How Women Can Deal with Alpha Males in the Workplace
My wise grandmother once said: "Never make a woman feel plain and never make a man look stupid." Just as women want to feel attractive and desired, men want to be admired. And that's all down to male pride. Male pride, for most men, is a potent mixture of testosterone and ego mixed with a need for achievement and admiration, to prove a man is worthy of being desired by women and admired also by his male peers. It takes confidence and good communication to deal with an Alpha Make, certainly one in full strut!
1. No woman should try to out alpha male an alpha male. That won't work because alpha males like women, whether or not they're alpha females, to act like women and not like men. To see if from a woman's perspective: how would you, as a woman, feel if an alpha male you know started to behave in a more feminine way, trying to be one of the girls? Not only would it be ineffective for the man, but he would then immediately have his alpha licence revoked and made by his mates to wear mismatched bra and panties in his local gym's and/or his local pub.
2. If you want to try and subdue and conquer an alpha male, expect a fight, and an ugly one, at that! Allow the man the time to flex whatever the man has to flex to assert his credentials, unless he doing so in a plainly offensive way. In that case, don't be afraid to challenge him with a cool, collected charm if there's something he's said or done which you disagree with or aren't sure about.
3. An alpha male will want a woman to be impressed by him in some way, even more so if he feels the woman is worth impressing. To the alpha male, most women are a legitimate target in this regard because they've been hard-wired that way since the days when they had to wrestle the odd diplodocus to the ground to get the attention of a cave woman who took their fancy and who also handily rustled up a fine Stone Age dinosaur dish.
4. As much as some alpha males like the idea of a woman being wowed by them unquestioningly, the reality is that such a woman will soon prove increasingly less challenging and any such admiration or ardour will soon lose its impact on the man.
5. Alpha males like to challenge themselves and overcome obstacles and win. So they are prepared to get stuck in to a good bout of psychological, practical and even physical fisticuffs to achieve what they're aiming for.
