Bear necessities

Appearances can be deceptive, particularly in business. There's a tall man at the place where I work who looks like he's simmering with adverse energy and barely containted irritation. In short, he doesn't look like a warm, friendly and approachable chap. I wondered if this was adversely affecting his business. But after observing him more closely I have come to notice that he isn't very sure of himself and is, I suspect, something of a worrier.

He's probably is a nice guy, but, like so many men, can come across as bear like, only to be approached with great caution. That may appeal to a man's inner desire to feel primevally manly, but it can deter others from engaging with him, certainly when he needs people to do that so his business and other prospects can improve. I will now go and growl in private. I might even have a sneaky roar while I'm at it!
